Security, cash control and loss prevention

Find the pattern, keep the evidence, and clear people as readily as you flag them.

Voids, no-sales and discounts reviewed by someone other than the person who made them. Till variances, deposits and safe counts reconciled. Cases with a chain of custody, and evidence released only to a named recipient.

Who it is for

  • Owners of groups where cash moves through many hands.

  • Area managers who need to review exceptions without accusing anyone.

  • Auditors who need time-boxed, watermarked access.

What you can do

  • Review exceptions with separation of duties

Voids, no-sales and discounts are dispositioned by severity. Nobody can clear their own exception. Finance cannot clear even a watch-level one.

  • Reconcile the cash

Till variances, deposits, safe counts and a counterfeit log. Prepare a deposit, verify it, and raise a finding from a safe count.

  • Open a case with custody

Case kind, evidence references, lawful basis, purpose, subject and priority. Restricted cases are hidden from everyone but loss-prevention managers, and every open is logged.

  • Record shrinkage from every source

Variance, waste, transfer discrepancies and vendor claims, each with its own record and follow-up.

  • Release evidence to a named person

Export an evidence packet to a named recipient with a lawful basis and reason. It is watermarked and tracked. Raw footage cannot be included.

  • Manage access items and exits

Keys and access cards with rotation, a watchlist, employee exits and offboarding steps.

  • Keep equipment on the menu

Mark equipment down and see which menu items it takes with it, with a fallback task for delivery channels.

  • Time-box auditors

Record an engagement window for an external auditor. Their access is read-only, expires, and their exports carry their name and the time.

How it works

  1. Exceptions arrive

Voids, discounts, variances and discrepancies land in the queues by severity.

  2. Someone else reviews

A manager or analyst dispositions each one. The person who caused it cannot clear it.

  3. A case, if needed

Patterns become a case with evidence, custody and a confidentiality level. Findings can clear a person as readily as flag them.

Built to be checked

  • The evidence-release validator structurally rejects a raw footage object, so a packet cannot contain a clip. In the product
  • Auditor access is read-only, bounded by a recorded engagement window, and every export is watermarked with the actor and time. In the product

Frequently asked questions

Is this staff surveillance?

No. It is a review of transactions and cash with the evidence attached, under separation of duties. Findings are described as patterns and variances, never as accusations, and a case can clear someone.

Who can see a restricted case?

Only loss-prevention managers. Everyone else does not see that it exists, and every time it is opened, that is logged.

Can I share evidence with the police or an insurer?

You can export an evidence packet to a named recipient with a stated lawful basis. It is watermarked and the release is recorded. Raw footage stays with your camera system.
