This notice explains how ChowChirp handles personal data on this website and in the ChowChirp product, in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
Data we collect on this website
When you request a demo we collect your name, work email, phone number, restaurant name, outlet count and the notes you give us. We use them to reply to you and to prepare the demo. We do not sell or share them with advertisers. Website analytics, where enabled, record page views and clicks without cookies that identify you across sites, and we do not record sessions.
Data in the product
Customers control the personal data of their staff, suppliers and customers in the product. ChowChirp processes that data on the customer's instructions under the service agreement. Identity numbers, permits and contact details are stored in an encrypted vault separate from business records, access to identity numbers is logged, and support access is approved by the customer, time-boxed and read-only.
Retention
Demo requests are kept for two years unless you become a customer or ask us to delete them sooner. Product data is retained for the life of the agreement and exported or deleted on request after it ends, subject to legal record-keeping requirements.
Your rights
You may ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent to marketing at any time by emailing privacy@chowchirp.com.
Sub-processors
We use managed hosting, object storage and AI model providers to run the service. A current list is available on request and is included in enterprise agreements.
