Transfers move stock between outlets in the same organisation and carry the cost from the last observed price.

**Before you start:** stock write access at the sending outlet. The receiving outlet confirms on arrival.

## Send a transfer

1. Open **Stock › Transfers** at the sending outlet.
2. Click **New transfer**. Choose the destination outlet, the item, the quantity and the unit.
3. Submit. The sending balance reduces and the transfer shows as _In transit_.

You can also start a transfer from an item's detail page.

## Receive a transfer

1. At the receiving outlet, open **Stock › Transfers**.
2. Open the in-transit row and confirm the quantity received.
3. If the quantity differs, enter what arrived. The difference is recorded as a transfer discrepancy for the loss-prevention team to review; it is not silently absorbed.

## Cost

The transfer carries the last observed price at the sending outlet, so the receiving outlet's recipe costs stay accurate.
