The daily briefing is a short summary of what needs you, sent each morning to a channel you have verified.

**Before you start:** the `ai:briefing:configure` permission, which owners hold by default. A channel binding must already exist under **Settings › AI › Channels**.

## Verify a channel

1. Open **Settings › AI › Channels**.
2. Bind a WhatsApp or Telegram channel and complete the verification step. Unverified channels cannot receive briefings.

## Enable the briefing

1. Open **Settings › AI**.
2. Choose the verified channel and the delivery time in Malaysian time.
3. Record the consent reference for the recipient. Delivery cannot be enabled without a consent record.
4. Tick **Reserve budget** so chat usage can never starve the briefing.
5. For WhatsApp, tick the extra reviewed checkbox confirming the message template has been reviewed.
6. Save.

## What the briefing contains

Around a dozen lines: the critical items from the due-now list, key money figures for yesterday, and one deep link into the dashboard. It never omits an open critical alert.

## Unlink a channel

Unlinking asks for four explicit confirmations: delivery stops, approvals over that channel stop, the change is audit-visible, and a full rebind is required to resume.
